Google Super Searchers Webinar

CILIP SLG is proud to support the national Super Searchers programme, an initiative developed by Google to strengthen information literacy and critical search skills in schools and libraries. With the ambitious aim of training 100,000 users by the end of the year, this programme is set to make a real impact in how learners and educators navigate the digital world.

We’re delighted to invite you to a free interactive webinar with Gareth Evans (CILIP SLG Social Media and Web Officer). These practical sessions will cover:

  • Advanced search techniques
  • Evaluating online sources
  • Understanding algorithms
  • The ethical use of AI

📅 Session dates:

All participants will receive course resources, a certificate of attendance, and access to the session recording (available until the end of the year).

Become a Tier 2 Trainer

Looking to take your learning further? By becoming a Tier 2 Trainer, you’ll be able to share your knowledge with colleagues in your school or organisation. Trainers are provided with:

  • Full training materials
  • Ongoing email support
  • Practical delivery guidance

After running your own session, simply complete a short feedback survey before year-end, and you’ll be entered into a prize draw to win a free place on a future SLG webinar.
